Dave Andrews, Digital and Technology Strategic Partner
As a Digital and Technology Strategic Partner, Dave Andrews oversees the development of SM2‘s multi-platform, proprietary, state-of-the-art endeavors as well as SM2‘s social media moderation and community management initiatives. He brings over 15 years of expertise to SM2 across sports, entertainment, gaming, and technology companies, working with both large and small companies domestically and internationally as well.
As part of the core SM2 team, Mr. Andrews is an advisor who constantly ensures that brand integrity and the technology and tools we use are at the highest level to ensure customer satisfaction.
Wearing many hats, Dave is also the founder of Devious Media, Community 102, 360 E-Commerce Consulting and White Label Casting. He assists start-ups, brand owners, and giant corporations in the development, advertising, marketing, community, and new media space from concept to completion.
Before founding Devious Media, Andrews led Sony’s Game Show Network’s efforts in digital media, combining the latest interactive and mobile technologies to produce bleeding-edge content. While at GSN, Andrews drove development of interactive content, enabling the network to engage viewers deeper in the broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in addition to growing their online community from the ground up to over 5 million fans in a short period of time.
A four-time Emmy Award nominee in the Interactive Television category, Andrews is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Producers Guild of America, the Casual Games Association, the Cable Telecommunications Association for Marketing, and the International Game Developers Association.
He was the Co-Chair of the Emmy’s Digital Committee for three years and currently sits on the Advisory Board for TV Plus and Moeo.
