Meghan Hanson

Meghan Hanson is an Associate General Counsel at TechSoup Global. Meghan joined TechSoup Global  in 2013, and provides comprehensive advice to the business groups across the organization about legal, compliance and business issues related to the organization’s domestic and international transactions.  Previously, she was Assistant General Counsel at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she served as part of a legal team of 12 attorneys who provided advice to support the foundation’s $3.4 billion annual grantmaking budget, as well as operations.  Earlier in her career, she worked at the Juvenile Courthouse (San Diego) and has always had a passion for helping those underprivileged, especially children. Meghan holds a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Washington and graduated from Cornell University.
