Premiere business strategist, crisis communications and digital expert, Carrie Gerlach Cecil is the CEO ANACHEL Communications, Inc., and the Founder of Social Media Sports Management (SM2). ANACHEL is the parent company of SM2.

A preeminent leader in litigation, crisis and strategic communications and digital brand terrorism, Carrie Cecil began her career with the Honorable Senator John McCain and has pioneered problem-solving services to mitigate risk and increase brand integrity for her clients for over two decades.

A well-known speaker and author, Mrs. Cecil is a trusted brand and reputation gatekeeper who confidentially directs her clients on how to navigate the narratives when it matters most. She has developed close working relationships with some of America’s top law firms, energy corporations, political candidates, CEOs and professional and collegiate sports stakeholders to create proactive reputation tactics in lockstep with the legal and brand strategies. She manages an internal and external team of global communications, digital, marketing executives.

She has counseled countless c-suite executives from corporations such as Noble Energy, Adephia and Charter Communications, Sony Corporate America, FOX Sports Net, Universal, The Big Ten, Pac-12 and Big 12 Conferences, Columbia Tri-Star, Miramax, MGM, the NCAA, NFL, MLB, and NASCAR.

She continues to work in higher learning with institution presidents/chancellors, their cabinet and legal counselors to prepare them for and respond to issues proposed by Board of Regents/Trustees and governing body regulators.

Mrs. Cecil handled government and public affairs for entertainment companies including serving as the director of communications for Turner Network Television (TNT), based in Los Angeles. She inaugurated her tenure with Turner Entertainment Group in New York as the manager of East Coast public relations. She began her career in strategic communications at Rogers & Cowan Public Relations, Inc., and with the Honorable Senator John McCain.

Ms. Cecil and her husband, NCAA College Football Hall of Fame player,  former NFL Pro Bowl Safety, and Defensive Coach, Chuck Cecil, believe that God has blessed their lives in many ways and are dedicated to giving back both financially and with their time.  The college sweethearts are avid philanthropists working with several charities that are close to their heart. The duo split their time between California and Arizona and have a 15-year-old daughter, Charli Alleene.
